Ambridge Steel Drum Band Live
Since its inception, the steel band program has grown from five students participating after school to an average of eighty band students, grades 9-12, enrolled in three levels of classes spread over four periods during the school day. For the past sixteen years, the traveling performing group has developed into one of the most sought after high school ensembles in the area, averaging forty to fifty shows annually. Their repertoire reflects a diverse collection of styles including traditional Calypso & Soca, Swing, Afro-Cuban and Latin-Jazz, Classical, and Pop-Rock.
